전시 소개 ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
방도 2026 ExC 프로젝트 선정 전시
리허설은 완결된 결과물에 도달하기 위해 거쳐야 하는, 무대 뒤에 감춰진 잠정적 준비의 시간으로 인식된다. 보여지기 위한 것이 아닌 예비 단계이기에 실수와 반복이 허용되지만, 동시에 관객에게 온전히 드러나면 안 되는 숨겨진 노동으로 여겨진다. 본 전시는 이러한 리허설을 완벽한 결과를 위한 준비 단계가 아니라, 규칙과 역할이 잠정적으로 유예되고 협상되며 새로운 관계와 가능성이 생성되는 생산의 형식으로 바라본다.
《리허설로 잇기》는 작가들이 창작 과정에서 펼쳐두는 사유와 공간의 작동 방식을 완결된 결과로 닫지 않고 관람객에게 열어 보인다. 이를 통해 예술과 사람, 공간과 시간이 서로 만나고 이어지며, 관계가 새롭게 구성되는 과정을 하나의 리허설로 제안한다.
Selected exhibition of Bangdo's 2026 ExC Project
A rehearsal is understood as a provisional period of preparation hidden behind the stage, something to be passed through on the way to a finished result. Because it is a preliminary step rather than something meant to be seen, mistakes and repetition are permitted — yet at the same time it is treated as hidden labour that must not be fully revealed to an audience. This exhibition regards the rehearsal not as a preparatory stage toward a perfect outcome, but as a form of production in which rules and roles are provisionally suspended and negotiated, and in which new relations and possibilities are generated.
Connecting Through Rehearsal opens to visitors the thinking the artists lay out across their working process and the way the space operates, without closing them into a finished result. In doing so, it proposes as a single rehearsal the process through which art and people, space and time meet and connect, and relationships are newly composed.
