전시 소개 ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
KEYSHAPE의 다음 전시는 권봉균, 신종찬, 이종환 작가의 《옥수수 팝콘 부스러기》로 문을 엽니다. 세 작가는 회화와 조각이라는 서로 다른 매체를 통해 기억과 지각, 물질의 생성과 소멸이 교차하는 순간들을 각자의 방식으로 드러냅니다. 권봉균은 기억과 현재의 지각이 뒤섞이는 과정에서 형성되는 불완전한 이미지를 탐색하며, 신종찬은 신체의 움직임과 반복적인 행위를 통해 물질에 축적되는 시간을 드러냅니다. 이종환은물질의 변화와 소멸에 주목하며, 회화를 고정된 이미지가 아닌 시간에 따라 변화하는 하나의사건으로 바라봅니다. 세 작가의 작업은 우리가 현실이라 인식하는 것이 하나의 고정된 장면이 아니라, 경험과 기억, 감각과 물질이 끊임없이 교차하며 만들어지는 과정임을 보여줍니다. 이번 전시는 서로 다른 시간의 층위가 겹쳐지는 공간에서 현실을 바라보는 새로운 가능성을 제시합니다.
Through the different media of painting and sculpture, the three artists each reveal moments where memory and perception, and the emergence and disappearance of matter, intersect.
Kwon Bong Kyun explores the incomplete images formed as memory and present perception blend together. Shin Jong Chan reveals time accumulated in material through bodily movement and repetitive acts. Lee Jong Hwan focuses on the transformation and disappearance of matter, seeing painting not as a fixed image but as an event that changes over time.
Together, their works show that what we perceive as reality is not a fixed scene but a process continually shaped by the intersection of experience and memory, sensation and matter. The exhibition proposes new ways of seeing reality in a space where different layers of time overlap.
