전시 소개 ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
콜렉티브 다프네(오조, 변수빈, 박혜정)는 그리스・로마 신화에서 나무로 변신한 님프의 이야기에서 출발해, 불완전하고 불온한 상태에서 발휘되는 가능성을 탐구하는 그룹입니다. 초현실주의 미술의 영향을 받아, 우연한 충돌과 비논리적인 결합을 이끌어 내는 공동 창작 방식을 실험하고 있습니다.
⟪다프네 루프⟫는 변신이 무한히 이어지는 궤도를 그려 내는 것을 목표로 기획된 전시입니다. 여기서 우리는 초현실주의 미술의 자동기술법과 공동 창작의 전략을 도입한 드로잉, 도자, 그리고 워크숍을 펼쳐 보입니다. 당신을 이 무한궤도로 초대합니다. 절대적일 것만 같았던 경계는 이곳에서 흐려집니다. 공동의 상상 속을 유영하며, 내가 당신으로, 당신이 나로 변해 갑니다.
Collective Daphne (Ozo, Subeen Byun, and Hyejung Park) takes its starting point from the Greco-Roman myth of a nymph transformed into a tree, exploring possibilities that emerge from incomplete and unsettling states. Influenced by Surrealism, the group experiments with collaborative methods that produce chance collisions and illogical combinations.
Daphne Loop is conceived as an exhibition that traces an orbit of endless transformation. It presents drawings, ceramics, and workshops shaped by Surrealist automatism and strategies of collective creation. We invite you into this infinite loop. Boundaries that once seemed absolute become blurred here. Swimming through a shared imagination, I become you, and you become me.
