전시 소개 ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
한 장의 종이를 접고 중앙을 가르면 여덟 쪽의 작은 책이 만들어집니다. 몇 번의 접기와 한 번의 자르기를 거친 종이에는 페이지의 순서가 생기고, 접혀 있던 면은 손이 움직일 때마다 차례로 모습을 드러냅니다. 두 작가는 이 단순한 구조를 함께 정하고, 그 안에서 각자의 작업으로 나아갑니다. 종이를 접어 만든 여덟 쪽에는 두 사람 사이에 오간 대화가 담겨 있으며, 하나의 형식에서 출발한 작업은 회화의 흐름과 종이의 깊이로 서로 다른 방향을 향합니다.
Folding a sheet of paper and cutting through its center creates a small eight-page book. Through several folds and one cut, the paper gains a sequence of pages, and the folded surfaces reveal themselves one by one as the hand moves. The two artists begin with this shared, simple structure and proceed toward their individual practices. The eight pages hold the dialogue exchanged between them, while works rooted in a single format move in different directions through the flow of painting and the depth of paper.
