작년, 위시컴퍼니에서 섬세한 감각과 독창적인 시선으로 세상을 바라보는 신진 예술가를 발굴하고 후원하기 위해 제정한 ’디어 클레어스 아티스트 프라이즈‘의 제1회 수상자로 조효리 작가가 선정된 바 있습니다.
오는 6월 11일부터 29년까지 서울 명동 프린스 호텔에서 조효리 작가의 개인전 ≪Flooding Dawn≫이 진행됩니다. 이번 전시는 여행자와 투숙객이 잠시 머물다 떠나는 비정주적인 공간인 호텔 객실에서 진행되며, 잠들지 못한 새벽, 내일이 서서히 밀려오는 감각에서 출발합니다.

Cho Hyori was selected as the inaugural recipient of the ’Dear Klairs Artist Prize‘ establisehd by Wishcompany to discover and support emerging artists who view the world through a delicate sensibility and a distinctive perspective, last year.
From June 11 to June 29, her solo exhibition, Flooding Dawn, will be presented at the Prince Hotel in Myeong-dong, Seoul. Taking place within hotel rooms, the exhibition begins with the sensation of a sleepless dawn, when the arrival of tomorrow slowly starts to emerge.
