전시 소개 ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
하나의 풍경이 다른 풍경과 겹치고, 익숙한 장면이 낯선 장면으로 건너가는 순간. 실재와 이미지, 기억과 장소 사이에서 '여기'가 다른 풍경으로 전환되는 경계를 바라봅니다.
송수민은 SNS와 뉴스 속 이미지를 조합하고 재배치하며 자연, 재난, 기후변화, 아이의 낙서가 겹쳐진 또 다른 풍경을 만들어냅니다. 안혜진은 108마리 물고기를 그리고 흘려 보내며, '방생'을 통해 익숙한 자리를 벗어나 다른 세계로 건너가는 순간을 바라봅니다. 원나래는 '식집사 피드'처럼 연출된 식물의 이미지를 통해 꾸며지고 보여지는 존재를 바라보며, 우리가 가꾸고 선택한 풍경을 다시 들여다봅니다.
서로 다른 방식으로 익숙한 장면을 바라보고 변주하는 세 작가의 작업은 우리가 알고 있던 풍경 너머, 새로운 장면을 마주하게 됩니다.
The moment one landscape overlaps another, and a familiar scene crosses over into an unfamiliar one. Between the real and the image, between memory and place, the exhibition looks at the threshold where 'here' turns into a different landscape.
Song Sumin combines and rearranges images drawn from social media and the news, producing another landscape in which nature, disaster, climate change, and a child's scribbles are layered over one another. Ahn Hyejin paints 108 fish and sets them adrift, watching—through the act of 'release'—the moment of leaving a familiar place and crossing into another world. Won Narae looks at staged images of plants, arranged like a plant-keeper's feed, considering beings that are groomed to be seen and taking a second look at the landscapes we tend and choose.
Approaching familiar scenes in three distinct ways, the works of these three artists bring us face to face with a new scene, beyond the landscape we thought we knew.
