전시 소개 ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
박재연은 피코를 꽉 채워보기로 했다. 그는 이곳을 그 어떤 것도 아닌 조각만으로 채우려 한다. 여기저기 널브러진 조각의 조건을 솎아내 형태에 꽉 눌러 담는다. 속 비어 널널한 형태는 박살내 덧붙이며 채우고, 형태를 초과해 넘친 것은 말끔히 다듬는다. 공간을 조망하는 위치에 서서, 시야에 조각을 부대끼게 채워 넣는다. 피코는 꽉 채워졌을까?

Jaeyeon Park decided to fill PCO to the full. He now plans to fill the space with nothing but sculptures. He gathers the conditions of sculpture scattered everywhere and packs them solid into forms. Hollow, loose forms are willfully destroyed, patched, and then fully filled up. Anything that sticks out of its form is trimmed away. Standing where the artist can take a view of the given space, Jaeyeon now fills up the sight full with his sculptures. So is PCO full?
