전시 소개 ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
리안갤러리 서울은 2026년 봄을 알리는 첫 전시로 김춘미 작가의 개인전 《Isobars in Down》을 개최합니다.
이번 전시는 리안갤러리에서 선보이는 김춘미 작가의 첫 개인전으로, 그동안 작가가 지속적으로 탐구해온 회화적 고민과 최근 작업의 새로운 시도를 함께 조망하는 자리입니다. 작가의 회화는 투명하게 겹쳐지는 색의 층과 반복되는 선의 제스처를 특징입니다. 이전의 흔적들이 완전히 지워지지 않은 채 남아 있는 중첩된 화면 구조를 통해, 작가의 작업은 결과보다 제작의 과정을 드러내는 데 초점을 둡니다.

Leeahn Gallery Seoul presents Isobars in Down, a solo exhibition by Choon Mi Kim, marking the gallery's first exhibition of Spring 2026.
This exhibition is her first solo presentation with the gallery, offering an opportunity to explore both her ongoing painterly inquiries and her recent developments. Her work is characterized by translucent layers of color and repetitive linear gestures. Through a stratified surface where traces of previous marks are not fully erased, Choon Mi Kim's paintings foreground the process of making rather than a fixed result.
