전시 소개 ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
콤플렉스는 7월 8일부터 8월 1일까지 강희정 작가의 개인전 《Old-school Spectacle》을 개최합니다.
2025 콤플렉스 오픈콜 선정전인 이 전시에서, 작가는 2011년부터 이어 온 '욕조' 작업을 콤플렉스 공간의 특성에 맞추어 재제작해 선보입니다. 새로이 천착한 회화 시리즈 '출근' 연작과 더불어 최근 몇 년 사이 만든 조각과 회화를 다수 펼쳐, 평면과 입체를 오가며 전개해 온 작업의 고유한 태를 톺아봅니다.

KOMPLEX is pleased to present 《Old-school Spectacle》, a solo exhibition by Heejung Kang, on view from July 8 to August 1.
Selected through the 2025 KOMPLEX Open Call, the exhibition features a site-specific reconfiguration of the artist's long-running <Bathtub> series, which she has developed since 2011, newly adapted to the architectural character of KOMPLEX. Alongside her recently developed painting series <Commute>, the exhibition also brings together a wide selection of sculptures and paintings made over the past several years, offering a closer look at the distinctive visual language that has unfolded across both two- and three-dimensional forms throughout her practice.
