RANEE SEOUL은 15인의 작가가 참여하는 그룹전 《Portraits : Ourselves 우리들의 초상》을 2026년 6월 27일부터 8월 8일까지 선보인다 이번 전시는 초상을 동시대적 기록의 한 형식으로 바라보며, 사회의 변화와 예술적 관습, 문화적 기대 속에서 오늘날 인간은 어떤 모습으로 존재하는가를 질문한다. 초상은 각 작가의 시선과 감각, 조형 언어가 가장 밀도 있게 드러나는 장르이기도 하다.
전시는 예술가의 페르소나, 균열되고 융합되는 자아, 혼종적 존재, 극적으로 연출된 인물들, 디지털 감각과 관계의 회로도처럼 구축된 초상, 그리고 존재의 흔적이라는 흐름으로 전개된다. 서로 다른 초상들은 하나의 얼굴로 수렴되지 않은 채 단정할 수 없는 우리 자신의 모습들을 마주하게 한다

RANEE SEOUL presents Portraits: Ourselves, a group exhibition featuring fifteen artists, on view from June 27 to August 8, 2026. The exhibition approaches portraiture as a contemporary form of record, asking how human beings exist today amid shifting social conditions, artistic conventions, and cultural expectations. Portraiture is also a genre in which each artist’s gaze, sensibility, and visual language emerge with particular intensity.
The exhibition unfolds through the artist’s persona, fractured and fused selves, hybrid beings, theatrically staged figures, portraits constructed like diagrams of digital sensibilities and human relationships, and lingering traces of human presence. Rather than converging into a single face, these diverse portraits offer encounters with uncertain and irreducible reflections of ourselves.
