전시 소개 ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
임다울, 조현진, 최혁
쓰여지고, 다시 불러지는 것. 한번 고정된 것은 영원히 변형될 수 없다가도 그 모습을 바꾸어 나타난다. 흥얼거릴 수 있는 공기의 자유로운 움직임. 축축한 흙이 버석하게 마르고, 말들은 모래에 묻힌다. 남아 있는 바위의 흔적을 손으로 쓸어본다. 메아리치는 소음. 조용한 적막. 흙탕물에 떨어지는 깨끗한 물. 종잇조각들은 적셔진다. 그러나 그것들은 금방 뒤섞여 메마른다. 종이에 남겨진 연갈색 흔적들. 그 주름과 버석한 파편을 더듬어 쥐어보다가 종이에 새겨진 잉크가 뭉개진다. 글자가 사라진다. 시간이 흐르고 나서야, 누군가 그것을 흥얼거린다.

Written, and sung again. What has once been fixed may seem unable to change, yet it returns in another form. The free movement of air, light enough for a hum. Damp earth dries into brittle dust, and words are buried beneath the sand. The traces left on stone are brushed away by a hand. Echoing noise. Quiet stillness. Clear water falls into muddy water. Paper fragments are soaked through, then dry again, mingled together. Pale brown marks remain upon the page. The wrinkles and brittle fragments are traced, and the ink begins to blur and spread. The letters disappear. Only after time has passed does someone begin to hum it.
