전시 소개 ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
엄현철의 첫 개인전 《SURFACE》가 5월 15일부터 6월 13일까지 성수동 씨디에이(CDA)에서 진행됩니다.
엄현철은 스위스에서 호텔 경영을 그리고 한국에서 영화를 전공한 이후, 영화·광고·뮤직비디오 연출과 MTV CD 활동을 거쳐온 작가로, 이번 전시에서는 섬유와 터프팅을 통해 벽의 흔적, 흐르는 물, 스쳐 지나가는 표면들을 작업으로 풀어냅니다.

Eum Hyunchul ‘s first solo exhibition, 《SURFACE》, will be held at CDA in Seongsu from May 15 to June 13.
After studying hotel management in Switzerland and film in Korea, EUM HYUNCHUL worked across film, advertising, music video directing, and as a Creative Director at MTV. In this exhibition, he transforms traces of walls, flowing water, and passing surfaces into works through textile and tufting.
