전시 소개 ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
《시간은 흐르지 않는다》는 이미 지나간 것이 흔적과 기억, 이미지와 사물에 남아 현재의 감각으로 다시 읽히는 순간에 주목합니다. 노상호는 SNS와 웹페이지를 오가는 ‘디지털 산책’을 통해 반복해서 마주하는 이미지를 다시 해석하고, 호상근은 일상의 동선을 따라 익숙한 풍경과 사물에 스며든 미세한 변화를 발견합니다.
본 전시에서 두 작가의 작업은 ‘기후’, ‘추억’, ‘같은 장소, 다른 시간’, ‘오래된 것들’이라는 네 개의 축을 따라 서로 다른 ‘지금’을 교차시키며, 시간의 경과가 남긴 표식이 현재와 새롭게 관계 맺는 방식을 보여줍니다. 이를 통해 전시는 시간이 선형적으로 흘러 사라지는 것이 아니라, 서로 다른 순간들이 현재 안에서 거듭 호출되고 갱신되는 감각적 경험임을 제시합니다.
Time Does Not Flow explores how traces of the past persist in memories, images, and objects, inviting renewed perception in the present. Through “digital strolling” across social media and the web, Noh Sangho reinterprets familiar images, while Ho Sangun observes subtle changes in everyday landscapes and objects along his habitual routes.
Organized around four themes—Climate, Memories, Same Place, Different Times, and Things of the Past—the exhibition brings their perspectives into dialogue, revealing how remnants of the past acquire new meanings in the present. It presents time not as a linear progression, but as a sensory experience in which disparate moments are continually recalled and reconfigured.
